Upcoming Events	Functions & Venue Hire Our venue is conveniently situated in the heart of Newton Park and is an ideal venue for: Live Music Entertainment All Special Events such as birthday parties, anniversary parties, pamper parties, etc. All corporate Events Company year end functions Tour groups Weddings The homely African ambience of the venue lends itself to an intimate gathering. This is complemented by a beautiful garden setting and large fire –place. Our venue package includes: A menu comprising various buffet and snack-platter options as well as more formal plated lunch or dinner menus. Tables, chairs, crockery & cutlery Table decor – coloured runners, lamps, simple centre-piece decorations and serviettes. Bar facilities Music System: Use thereof for own CD's : R50. In house music at no charge. The law stipulates that after 24hoo the sound level be reduced to very soft background music. Personal, friendly attention. Setting up and clearing of the venue. Our venue at present can seat 110 guests in the outside section. The garden area can accommodate more guests weather permitting. The inside area offers a large bar, lounge and buffet facilities. Booking & Confirmation To secure a venue reservation as a confirmed booking a deposit of 50% of the meal bill is required 2 weeks before the function. You will then be billed on the night of the numbers catered for together with a venue hire charge of R15 per person. Payment is due at the function in cash, cheque or prior arrangement of an electronic transfer. Hopefully credit card facilities will be in operation shortly. Corkage A R15 corkage fee is charged on bottles of champagne or wine brought in. No other alcohol is permitted but must be purchased thought our bar.
